[ Kanga Music Player Thing ]
June 15th, 2008 Hey, summer now!

Hello! ARE YOU READY FOR YEAR END REFLECTION? You better be, because it's about to smack you across the face.

Miss List

These are a bunch of things about my junior year in high school that I will definitely miss, and or forget about, so this is when I acknowledge those stuff.

Per. 1 - AP U.S. History

Oh Bohannon. I'm gonna miss the class that was challenging every single day. I'm gonna miss those tests that I failed with only half the questions correct, yet still enabled me to keep a B. I'm gonna miss my seat in the back of the room which I was forced to take at the beginning of the year because I was tardy (yes, on the first day of school). I'm gonna miss taking notes on the practice tests; I would take the even questions and Liz would get the odd ones. I'm gonna miss sitting behind Jonathan who did not do his Clinton accent nearly enough. I will miss sitting next to Kimberly, and transitively next to Jane, my fellow history farts. Probably a few years from now I'll appreciate that class a lot, but right now... I thought it was way killer. Oh yeah, and I'll miss Mr. Bohannon who can now happily retire with his new wife.

Per. 2 - Art 2D Intermediate

Art has always been my favorite subject. I'm gonna miss entering the classroom and waving "hi" to David, the super awesome 8th grade artist. I'll miss Jason, the 9th grader who seemed to sleep a lot and always got questioned by Mrs. Agrums as to whether or not he "saw the slides". I'm gonna miss Sam who always came to class tardy and Rosa who had the blubbliest personality I know. I'm gonna miss looking up at Tim Ho's art on the wall and being completely impressed and inspired. The good thing about art is that I get to take it again next year. Not as much to miss!

Per. 3 - Physics CP

This is probably the most relaxed class I've taken. I'm gonna miss being able to just run out during homeroom to do whatever random adventures with Jan and Esther. I will miss all three seniors, Chryst'l, Jordan, and Juan. I'll miss looking back and seeing Benita's face half squashed in her arm as she slept through the entire period. I'll miss the times when Kyoung, Henry, and Brandon would make random inventions and try to smack each other with them (sorta). I'll miss getting circles and triangles. I will miss Mr. Tseng who was both wise and very child-like at the same time. This was the class where I got to plan most of my Comiclub stuff, and I am very grateful for that. I will probably miss a dousand other things about this class.

Snack

By the end of the year, snack had its own sort of routine. Jan and I would take care of any business. Then I would make my way to the little corner where my locker was, grab my snack from my locker, and chomp it down in the English room, which was about 5 steps away.

Per. 4 - AP Language

I'm gonna miss doing nothing in that class. English classes never seem to be very productive, and this class just about follows that rule. I will miss the two tables that I had been familiarized with, Craig/Anum/Brittany and Esther/Darren/Jane. I'm gonna miss DOMINEERING OUTRAGE who produced the best video presentation ever. I'm gonna miss the fact that Brittany was never there (or mysteriously absent for just this period). I shall miss the combination of Jane's weird laughs, Esther's funny bluntness, and Darren's randomness. I'm gonna miss sneaking out to my locker when Mrs. Brannen wasn't looking. I'm gonna miss Miss Brannen who always had to tell her life story dilemmas. I hope she gets well soon.

Per. 5 - Spanish IV

Many people didn't like Señora Barry, but I don't think she's that bad. Her niceness counterbalanced anything negative. I'm gonna miss the weird Imagina videos. I'm gonna miss finally having a spanish class where I'm averaging A's on my tests and getting a good amount of participation points. I'm gonna miss being Cho's compañero whose personality matches his physical size. I will miss Kristen as a compañera and Joseph de Jesus's random sounds. Yes, I'll miss señora Barry who put up with a bit of attitude from reluctant students. This is the last year I'm taking spanish (possibly ever), so I guess I'll just miss spanish in general. Speaking it can be way fun, and it does good to my self esteem knowing that I can understand more than just one language. I should probably learn Chinese.

Lunch

The Junior Pit was probably the best lunch area I've eaten in thus far. Not only am I near most of our '09 class, but I also got some shade 70% of the time, and I got to eat at a decent lunch table with many more people than years past. I'm gonna miss playing cards at the table and being punished with push ups by sucking so badly at Pusoy. I will miss seeing Paul lick down two popsicles while Jonathan eats his slowly with a spoon.

Per. 6 - Math Anal Calc A

I can never get an A in math. Nonetheless, I shall miss the class. I will miss doodling superheroes on my paper while half paying attention to Mrs. Fierro's arms shaping various parabolas. I'll miss the surplus amount of corny jokes related to math that iss dished out almost daily. I'm gonna miss getting owned by 5th period's test scores. I'm not sure why I'll miss it, but I will. I'm gonna miss turning around and seeing half of the heads in the class dead to the world.

...and the other stuff.

XC? Track? Yeah I'll miss those sports a lot. I think I already talked about how much I'll miss everything about them. Luckily I have one more year to experience much awesome fun. And besides, if I ever feel like looking back on running memories, I have many pictures, videos, and the slideshows.

As a whole, this school year was filled with countless random adventures, coupled with a bajillion minor quirky memories that I enjoyed immesnely. I am going to miss Junior Year.

...but yay for being a senior now!..

Awww wasn't that nice! But on to bigger and better things! (LIKE YO MOMMA! But not really.)

Guess who! Really, guess types...
"I don't think I've mailed in a while."
Hmm... At first I was gonna guess Gary, but if I were to get it wrong, OOO HOW EMBARRASSING... So I'll guess Santa Claus. Is this Santa Claus? If so, I have some early Christmas for you (in exchange for some early Christmas presents for me, of course).

jane types...
"i like how in the beach trip picture, paul and darren are both scratching their heads"
Oh yeah, hahahha I never noticed that... although that's Chua, not Darren. But Chua? Darren? All the same!

smells like bad spirits. types...
"punishment!!!!!
aghhhhhh.....
smells like clorox."
What the- who is this? Punishment..? WAIT. IS THIS THE PUNISHER?! No way. Awwww man this is so cool! Sorry, I never got around to watching your movie, I blame the fact that it didn't look that good and it was panned by critics. But aw man nice to meet you!

Huh. Interesting this week.

So...

Last couple posts I hinted that I was gonna get a blog, so... well okay I didn't really hint I was gonna get a BLOG per se... SURPRISE I GOT A BLOG!

Kanga, version BLOG! (click!)

Yes, my new blog will replace my this current incarnation of my Kanga. Yeah, gross huh. BUT, I figure it's for the better! What will happen to this site, you ask?! Well it'll still be here. It'll just be inactive. It shall just stay like this. Forever. Unless I have plans for it later! But right now, I'll immobilize this site like how the Flash immobilized Inertia after he killed Bart Allen. WOW nerd out.

I dunno what I'm gonna do about MailMan though. Maybe you could just not send any messages?

So! This is how Kanga V.2 ends. Post #172 with MailMan #23 at the end of junior year. Lovely.

Read part 2 of this post at my Kanga blog...

June 15th, 2008 SUMMER SUMMER NOW NOW!

Oh suhNAP, I can feel the juices flowing through my mind! I wouldn't call them "creative juices", cuz I'm not feeling too witty right now, but maybe like Kanga juices. Yeah... Kanga juices... low concentrate... I BETTER POST RIGHT NOW!

School Week 34

Monday --- sunova BEACH TRIP! Well, Seal Beach trip. I think this is about as close to a big adventure as I'll ever get to (unless I go exploring through the Amazon rainforest with a bunch of friends and machetes, because that would be pretty adventurous). To me, an adventure has a goal with a set of undetermined, spontaneous events that occur in between the Start and Finish. These adventures happen about half the times they should (the last one being the Giant Burrito thang probably), so the enormity of this event of was slightly significant. Am I rambling?

Yay for shot putting stuff.

The Team: Craig, Darren, Paul, Kenny, Elias, Chua, Eric (or as Craig calls him, "EERRC!"), and Eric's friend Chance. We rode our bikes down the river bed aaalll the way to Seal Beach, 20ish miles I'm guessing. Our multitude of rendezvous consisted of throwing rocks down the bed, locking 8 bikes together with 4 chains, eating greasy NY pizzas, crab battling, tackling in TACKLE football, flying an abandoned kite, and bike repairing. Dangit, my paragraph leading up to my story was longer than my story. YOU'RE A HORRIBLE WRITER, KEVIN!

Many firsts for me:
-First time I really just tackled someone (as fun as expected haha)
-First time I bought a gumball from those gumball machines (twas okay, I'm not candy man)
-First time I rode my bike more than 5 miles or something

What a big day! Afterwards, I demanded that my butt stop hurting, and then I went to Pranali's house to study math. Did you know she lived right down the street from me?

Tuesday --- This just in! SEÑORA BARRY WILL NO LONGER BE WITH US! Well, she left on maternity leave with one day notice, but an exclamatory sentence with an implication of death has ten fold the amount of drama.

Wednesday --- Many events today:

DeLon! - THA REAL HIP HOP! I did not see his performance during lunch because I was watching X-men, but I'm sure he proved that all the hip hop I've avoided on the radio was TOTALLY phony. Oh yeah, and I was too wussy to throw water DaLon, thus "watering DaLon". I probably would've done it if someone else did it.

Iron Man - "I... AM... IRON MAN..." Me saying that everytime "Iron Man"is mentioned is pretty much a requirement now. But anyway, I am not Ironman, but GREGORY BISSET IS, but this news is not as exciting as Bryan Nam though. But Greg's cool. So long as he joins XC. And also KIMBERLY MORRIS IS IRONWOMAN. She so good at running AND swimming! I bet Kimberly is secretly a man. Just kidding. But not really. Cuz sometimes I wonder.

College thing - So I found out there was a college thing after school today where alumni from different colleges came to talk to eager college bound Whitneyites. My greatest score out of the many pamphlets I recovered from this night was a spinny wheel thing. It just looked cool.

Thursday ---
Track Banquet!

I love track. I really do. If I had to be lovey dovey about one thing, it would probably be track. Either that or XC. Either those or pasta. Either those or Avatar and or Foster's. Either those or that special someone. But since we're talking about banquet, my lovey doveyness pin points track and all it's rubber goodness.

Here's the place! KAPOW it's called!

So it's safe to say that I thought banquet was totally awesome. It was one of the most emotional four hours of my life: I went from happiness to hungryness to bloatedness to nervousness to anxiousness to craziness to sadness to EXTREME happiness to dreaminess (?) to dizziness to reminisceness and back to happiness.

And, after hours of slaving away in front of a computer monitor, we debutted our TRACK SLIDESHOW! I think it was more than awesome; I think it was Kevin. WE DID AWESOME, VERONICA!

BTW, I dunno if this is unhumblizing, but I liked my speech too.

Friday --- Geez, all day I was still recovering from Track banquet. I was just kinda "WOOO..." and I smiled every time I thought about it. Withdrawal can be so awesome.

On a totally unrelated note:

http://keviokevio.deviantart.com/art/Monster-Short-Nibble-87227368

I submitted this short to an animation collaboration video being made in Toronto. The deadline was Friday, I sent it in at around 9:20 on Friday. Do the math, THAT'S OVERDUE IN CANADA LANGUAGE!! Curses.

School Week 35

MONDAY --- HI. THIS IS BATMAN. I'LL BE FILLING IN FOR KEVIN BECAUSE THIS WEEK I WENT TO SCHOOL IN PLACE OF KEVIN. WHY? WELL MONDAY WAS MASK DAY SO I JUST HAD TO GO AND WEAR MY BAT MASK. OH MAN, I LOVE BATS MORE THAN THAT ONE ZOMBIE WHO LOVES TURTLES - AND HE LOVES HIS TURTLES ALRIGHT.

TUESDAY --- TODAY IS TUESDAY. NOTHING EVER HAPPENS ON TUESDAY. IF THEY CALLED IT "BATDAY", STUFF WOULD HAPPEN. STUFF RELATED TO BATS.

WEDNESDAY --- IN SPANISH CLASS, I HAVE BEEN SINGING A SONG CALLED "LAS MAÑINITAS" WITH KEVIN'S CLASSMATES. YOU KNOW WHAT WOULD SPICE THAT CLASS UP MORE? BATS. MAYBE SPANISH BATS. THEY COULD WEAR BAT SOMBREROS SO YOU COULD TELL THEY WERE SPANISH.

THURSDAY --- TODAY I TOOK A PERSONALITY TEST IN PLACE OF KEVIN. I GOT SOME RANDOM LETTERS AT THE END OF THE TEST, SOMETHING LIKE "INTJ". WHAT THE HECK IS THAT I SAY. I AM NO "INTJ". THAT PERSONALITY TEST WAS POINTLESS. NOW IF I GOT THE LETTERS "BATS", THEN WE CAN TALK.

FRIDAY --- THE LAST FRIDAY OF THE SCHOOL YEAR FOR KEVIN, AND KEVIN DIDN'T EVEN GO. HONESTLY, I HAVE NO IDEA WHERE HE IS. I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE FUN TO GO TO SCHOOL AND PRETEND TO BE A SHORT LITTLE NON-BAT ASIAN KID, BUT IT REALLY IS NOT FUN AT ALL. THE SCHOOL WAS WAY TOO BRIGHT AND IT LACKED FLYING RODENTS. I SHOULD GO PUT KEVIN BAT BACK. UNTIL NEXT TIME, FLY SAFE AND DON'T BREAK THE LAW. OR ELSE I'LL BREAK YOUR FACE.

Oh man FREAKIN BATMAN... I told him he could take my place at school for only one day, and what does he do? He locks me in his Batcave. After yelling at him for deserting me in there, I questioned him as to why he would ever want to go to my school so badly. He said "I'M SEARCHING FOR NEW KINDS OF BATS, PARTICULARLY ASIAN ONES". Freakin Batman, I had to survive down in his cave for five days! Yknow what he has to eat? Bat pellets. I had to use those pellets to construct a small loaf of what looked like a bat pellet muffin. His bed was impossible to sleep on, it was freakin upsidedown on the ceiling. I ended up sleeping in a missle tank inside the Batmobile. Speaking of which, his Batmobile has a radio NOT to play regular radio stations, but to send out sonar frequencies to himself! He even posted a little note on the dashboard that said "Keep on this station!" LIKE SOMEONE ELSE IS GONNA DRIVE THE BATMOBILE! Freakin Batman.

School Week 36

Monday --- Worked on history project.

Tuesday --- Worked on more history project. DUDE this history project takes up so much time.

Wednesday --- Presented history project! "On the phone! You're gonna be ooOONnn THE phone!"

In physics I constructed Iron Man.

In english I got an A on my project, and also some respect from Mrs. Roberts. [high fives power point presentation!]

Comps begin!

Thursday ---

English (4): We did nothing. ...which just about sums up the entire class for the year! Heheh, okay, we worked a LITTLE bit because we had to write an essay. Which also sums up the entire class for the year.
Art (2): DUDE I made a really cool self portrait... of myself. I'll Deviant Art it ASAP! This is one of the few times when I'm very content with what I actually made (art wise).

Friday ---

Spanish (5): No COMP just movie watching! I only saw the beginning of Fool's Rush In, my viewing was cut short by my need to go copy comics. The movie actually seemed pretty decent! You surprise me, Matthew Perry.
Physics (3): My first "real comp"! Not too bad. I think I hope I aced it! Or I hope I think I aced it. Or... I aced it.

SERIOUS TIME! After my tests, Jan, Esther, Marina, and I scrambled to assemble Comiclub's very first COMICLUBOOK! BUY ONE! But anyway, after fumbling to fold and order the pages, we found ourselves stapling the books with Mary Pinedo's giant stapler in the back of the library (Marina had meanwhile been swapped with Kristina).

While we were assembling these comics, Esther said something that wasn't blunt, mean, funny, or threatening, which for her, is a very uncommon thing. She said to me, "Wow, look at all these books, Kevin. You must be so proud." That took me back a bit. In my head there was a slight pause of realization that made me think about what I had just done. I accomplished something. This wasn't like finishing a test or concluding an essay. This was an accomplishment which I now realize had become a kind of personal ambition. Yeah, it was a small thing, just a bunch of papers with a couple staples punctured through the center, but to me, I felt like my aspirations to just CREATE something that people could appreciate had finally been fulfilled. This made me happy. Not only happy about the progress of Comiclub, but happy just about my life, that I, Kevin Lam, am capable of more than being just being that random quiet guy who follows orders. It reconsiders any doubts that I held about my determination and justifies my confidence of doing what I want to do.

...yup.

You never know when I'm gonna spring a non-silly paragraph on you. You'll just be reading my Kanga and then BAM! PROFOUND SLAP!!

I just took SAT II's! On Saturday! Math was okay. Language was okay. THANK GODS I DID NOT TAKE US HISTORY! I can barely tell the difference between the Articles of Confederation and the Bill of Rights! I would have been patriotically screwed!

"it's a movie, it's a movie
if not bad, im sure it's groovy.
so here i am, giving it a score.
10 be good, 0 be poor.
it's a movie." *

The Incredible Hulk
Plot: Bruce Banner, aka Edward Norton, aka the HULK, is on the run from the government because he has the ability to get buff and turn green.

Two words: Much. Better. If you've seen the last Hulk movie, it was filled with sparse action, too much drama, and... Demi Moore. Yeah I don't remember much from the first Hulk movie because I did not enjoy it. THIS one, however, was a lot better. The character of the Hulk was portrayed much closer to the comics, yet the theme from the same movie still remains. "I must get rid of this disease! I hope I don't get angry! Oh no government after me! GETTING ANGRY! GETTING BUFF AND GREEN!"

The action scenes were amazing, the small doses of comedy were well done, and OH MAN I WAS SO GEEKING OUT WHEN THE ABOMINATION APPEARED! But that's just me. I think I enjoyed this move more because I was pretty familiar with the comics.

Okay, I'm gonna rate this movie a WEE bit differently than how I normally do. I have... MATHEMATICS ON MY SIDE!!

+5Default Score
+1Comic book related
+1Green...
-2Liv Tyler
+1THE ABOMINATION!
-.5The Abomination did not have fin ear things
+1Tony Stark cameo
-1Not as good as Iron Man
+1Crazy awesome action
+1Better than first movie!!
+1He said "HULK SMASH!"

Verdict: 8.5/10

OMG OMG LAST DAY OF SCHOOL! In two days. Tomorrow is my math comp (WHICH IS SHOULD BE STUDYING FOR), but instead I'll answer MailMan messages. Besides, I already practiced math with the Hulk.

veronica! types...
"well i think you should upload facebook pictures.

haha why didn't i just send in edit stuff in this? oh well."

...Maybe I DID upload facebook pictures! WATCHA! GO TO MY FACEBOOK TO SEE OLD SCHOOL PICTURES! I say uploading the pics is a pretty big thing for me, seeing how I go on facebook about as often as I update this Kanga. yeah...

paul! types...
"hahaha you should have like a comment thingy under each post so we can comment! and hells yeah to the t is original!, since i say hells NO to the t :p hehe"
Oh wow another person with an exclamation in their name. You guys have weird parents. Oh, and about that "comment thingy under each post", yeah I don't know how to do that. I could find out pretty easily, but I'm guessing my posts would get a lot more complicated and harder to manage. The more work I get, the more relatively lazy I seem!

jane types...
"yay...
next year will be INDESCRIBABLY FILLED WITH SPECTACULAR MEMORIES:)"
YEAH YAY!.. wait a minute. That's gonna suck. We're gonna have hours and hours of memories, but when we try to relive it, we're not gonna be able to describe it. We'll have to retell our memories by executing a variation of moans and grunts. Dangit.

Yay for 3 out of 3 friends! Btw, thanks for the second message, jane!

Hoorah, done with post. Just a heads up, I don't think I'll have an entry on the VERY LAST DAY OF SCHOOL, since I just finished this one... But I'll have SOMETHING else soon! JUST YOU WAIT AND SEE!

#171 11pm

May 31st, 2008 I LIKE BATS.

What's wrong with you, Kevin?! You haven't updated your Kanga in a month! YOU HAVE NO POSTS IN MAY!

Well I was busy...

NO. Yknow what? NO. Update today. UPDATE RIGHT NOW.

But I have to read my book!

OH WELL, YOU MUST UPDATE TODAY.

But I have to upload facebook pictures!

SCREW IT, YOU NEVER EVEN USE FACEBOOK ANYWAY.

But I have to write that college thing!

What college thing?

The self letter of rec from Mrs. Logan.

Oh.

Yeah.

Oh, well, JUST POST SOMETHING REALLY FAST ON YOUR KANGA THEN!

I guess I could...

Hells yeah to the T you can.

Alright, alright I guess I will post!- wait a minute, didn't you steal that phrase from someone?

What?

Hells yeah to the T. Someone else says that.

Uhh...

Wow. Plus 5 for originality.

JUST GO POST.

Fine. But whatever I say, don't copy me!

Shutup.

The following was written at the beginning of May:

Yknow what. If I messed up the numbering on just one of these "School Week"s, it would throw EVERYTHING off.

School Week 28 Apr14 - Apr18

Monday --- Back from spring break? SEAT CHANGE YO! The only seating that changed was in spanish (from middle to back!) and math (from side to middle!). I thought I had something more significant to say about this...

Tuesday --- Ivy, as I type this, you have my calculator - GIVE IT BACK. Thank you.

Wednesday --- MRS. BRANNEN IS GONNA GET MARRIED?! When I heard the news, it was such a shell shocker... but right now my feeling is just at the level of "oh thas cool". But good for her! It'd be a shame if her fiance's last name were "Stinson" again.

Thursday --- TRACK MEET... But also, in the morning I got a bloody nose. I really do hate bloody noses, but the ONE thing that keeps Nose Bleeding away from the "Imma kill you if you don't stop" side of things is the fact that they do not hurt. Well, what causes them might, but it's basically just an annoyingly runny nose. With red stuff. EEWWW RED BOOGERSS!!! Blue boogers would be cool. Unfortunately, green ones not so much. Clear boogers would be neato torpedo, but then I'd mix them up with glue.

Friday --- First Rhetorical Grammar Party was a success! Probably the most successful, actually. Homework is fun with either (A) music in your ears, or (B) racing other people. We party with the latter. There are other reasons you can enjoy homework, but those are specifically for certain people. NERD!

Did you foreshadow.

League Meet 3
Date: April 17th
Place: Awksford
Events: 4x1, 400m, 200m, 4x4

Guess what! Okay now give up now because you'll never get it. We had TWO BUSSES that went to Oxford! One was a regular bus, but the other one was a teeny tiny bus! It was just like a yellow van! Me and a few of the chosen ones decided to ride in it. I mean, how often do you get to ride in a bus that can accomodate only a few people with the desire to feel relatively large?! Not too often.

Cheryl MADAMBA!

Duh...DIRT TRACK?! OH MAN!!... actually dirt tracks aren't THAT bad. C'mon guys.

4x100m
TEAM: Darren, Me, Javier, Thomas

I think my handoff to Javi was a bit sloppy.

Place: 3/3

Since my last post had SO MUCH ABOUT TRACK, I'll spare those who lack the runner quality in their daily diet of life. In other words, I'll be kinda concise on track shmuck. I use words I don't know yay!

400m

3rd place! I thought it felt pretty good when I ran it because I had a kick at the end.

...

Yknow what's awesome at the beginning of May? Oh, well, other than Cinco de Mayo. First saturday of May is...

FREE COMIC BOOK DAY!

Yes! A day to get free comics! Basically: Go to a store, choose 3 free comics from a selection of about 15, go home happy! Gary, Kenny, Darren, Jan, and I decided to go to threee comic book stores to get our maximum free comic book capacity. First stop! Amazing Comics!

More a-mazing than a labyrinth.

After getting pissed that the gas station in Long Beach did not go through to the parking lot of the comic book store, we made it to our first destination. Signs everywhere at the entrances shouted "FREE COMIC BOOK DAY", so I guess we were in the right place! To the right of the doors were a couple canopies, or as coach would call it, a couple awnings - one of them housing some free swag while the other had, get this, a PHOTO BOOTH THING!

THE REAL GREEN LANTERN AND BATMAN!

I guess it's not really an actual booth.

Now I really wanted to take a picture with a couple superheroes; when life presents you with something random and corny, you take the chance. Besides, we'd get a FREE 4x6 picture! But just like those intimidating costumed workers at amusement parks, we were kind of hesitant to approach these plus-sized icons. So we went inside the store and decided to get a picture AFTER our free comics...

Upon entrance there was a table with a few employees behind it and we got to choose a 3 comic book set right away. I'll show all the comics I got at the end, but for now, on to stop numero dos!

Actually next we ate lunch. GUESS WHO I SAW AT A RINKY DINK IN N' OUT!

Corbin Bleu.

Yknow, the guy from high school musical.

THE END!

Yeah. SO much has been HAPPENING that I started this post way back when, and I never got to finish it. Above was just a clippet of my unifinishedness. What really happened at the end of the above exerpts was that we owned at the track meet, and we got lots of comics. Life is way too hard to keep up with.

I need to talk about SOMETHING in this post, so I'll just have to continue with my weekly nothingness's. I sure do add a lot of "ness"'s to my words. So much nessness.

School Week 29 Apr21 - Apr25

Monday --- Nothing

Tuesday --- Nada!

Wednesday --- I saw Juno at the track pasta party for the first time. Really nice film. 8/10, Kitty is such a good actor! (No, Veronica, not "Kitty". And yes, Jan, "Kitty".)

Thursday --- League Prelims! - So I don't have time to go into detail about this meet. Being League Prelims, all my races felt extremely important. As I was warming up for my 400, I felt this kind of movie-esque-ish state of mind. Everything in my head was overly dramatic because I knew I had to do awesome: it was League Prelims for Kevin's sake!

Unfortunately, all this thinking totally killed my brain. Imagine my cranium in a little boxing corner ready for a fight. My thoughts are massaging my mind to warm up for the battle, but it has gigantic hands and its massages are deadly. Imagine a buff hand squeezing a tiny little stress ball. That's what my thoughts were doing to my head at that time. (That's right, I just put an analogy in an analogy.) I burned out during the first 200m of my race. 400m Time: 56.79

Since there were not relays at Prelims, my last race was the 200m. Thanks to my loosey goosey, I was able to do pretty good. I had an awesome 100m start. 200m Time: High 24's? Or low 25's.

After this meet, I totally just wanted to just quit the 400m next year and revert back to running the 100m. I love me some sprints.

Friday --- OH! OH! GIANT BURRITO DAY! If you haven't seen our giant burrito, go read Paul's blog.

"it's a movie, it's a movie
if not bad, im sure it's groovy.
so here i am, giving it a score.
10 be good, 0 be poor.
it's a movie." *

The Forbidden Kingdom
Plot: Jackie Chan + Jet Li + White boy

This is one bizarre movie. It starts off with a white guy who loves martial arts, we'll call him "Tyler". He is transported to some magical kingdom- oh, transported to the "Forbidden Kingdom" to return a staff to a monkey man. There he meets a superhero (Jackie Chan) with martial arts powered by rum, along with a monk (Jet Li) who isn't bald. The last character of their lil hunchbunch is basically a girl Legolas: she exists to just look good, have long hair, deliver profound lines that aren't profound, and shoot sharp objects. I'm assuming her name was Legolasa.

Anyway, they go on an adventure to deliver this staff, and along the way they encounter interesting battles, super corny jokes, bad jokes, one decent joke, and pee jokes. SPOILER: In the end, we find out Jackie Chan is going live until his body is just a giant shrivled up pickle. I told you the end because it made no sense and I don't recommend you watch this movie. Well, it's funny because it's really bad, yet it's not that bad. Thank you, Forbidden Kingdom, for putting me in a paradoxical confilct of feelings. For that...

Verdict: 5/10

One more thing happened today! I saw the school production of Annie. I liked it. Better than Grease.

School Week 30 Apr28 - May 2nd

Monday --- STAR
Tuesday --- STAR
Wednesday --- STAR

It's funny because the analogies in the STAR testing aren't really analogies. I bet the test makers just thought they were too hard to comprehend for some people. Picture books are to teenagers as STAR testing is to Whitneyites. SCHOOL PRIDE!

I did, however, do poorly on the physics section.

Thursday --- League Finals! More track meet! For 4x1, Justin ran 1st leg instead instead of Darren, and he handed the baton off to me. When I passed to Thomas, Thomas started off way behind the arrow and I started saying "GOGOOGOGOGO!" because I felt like I had to say something. Kinda weird. Thomas then passed to Javi and we were done! DONE WITH THE 4X1 FOR THE SEASON! 4x1 Time: I dunno.

And if you aren't in track, that was about as interesting as a rodeo in Texas. SPEAKING OF ANALOGIES AND TEXAS, I hate how cowboy characters in cartoons always have to say some obscure analogies that only they can relate to. I'M LOOKING AT YOU, SANDY THE SQUIRREL AND CLAY THE MONK! "Why that's about as _____ as a _____ a ____!" OKAY, WE GET IT, YOU'RE FROM TEXAS! Now go away. Go back to Texas. Come back when you talk like a regular person.

Anyway!

I ran the 400 well! I expected for a fast guy from a random school to catch up to me, but guess who does! Edward! He so fast! In the end, PR, BABY! 400m Time: 55.76

No 200 for me. But 4x4 for me! Thmoas, Me, Javier, Edward. I like that order. I got to run against totally own Sean McElroy. As I ran my legs off in my leg, I saw soooo many Whitney people at literally every 5 meters of the track: I LOVED IT SO MUCH. If track were tangible, I'd marry it. Especially if it were a hot girl, probably not if it were a guy though. 4x4 Time: 3:42

Friday --- Nothing happened today. BUT YAY FOR YESTERDAY! We made it to CIF!

School Week 31 May 5th - May 9th

Monday --- I played my Anberlin vinyl in Physics class today. I FINALLY GOT TO USE IT! Twas quite lovely.

¡8 PUNOTS DE PARTICIPACIÓN! Hooray for me and Cho.

Tuesday --- Today during track practice I came in first in a lap run. The first thing I thought was "IT'S ABOUT TIME". I always have to run with the 4x4 relay team, and I always seem to come in last. I FINALLY got to "prove" myself. Sure, the other guys probably were just really pooped and didn't try as hard, BUT I TOTALLY KICKED THEIR BUTTS!

On the cool down, I pulled a muscle in my calf. I think it was my calf muscle. Thomas massaged me.

Wednesday --- We watched the first part of Goal! [subtitle] in spanish class today. It's quite entertaining, if not thoroughly cliche. I never got to finish the movie though.

Thursday --- I studied for APUSH today.

Friday --- I took the APUSH test today.

It was okay, I should have at least gotten at least a 3. Hehe. I felt quite prepared, actually, but the essay part was really trippy.

OMYGOSH SUPERHERONESS

"it's a movie, it's a movie
if not bad, im sure it's groovy.
so here i am, giving it a score.
10 be good, 0 be poor.
it's a movie." *

Iron Man
Tony Stark beats up bad guys in one of the most "badassiest" superhero suits ever.

I really don't have a lot to say about a good movie. Everything about it was just extremely well done, the character was likeable, the funniness was really funny, the visual effects were amazing, it all flowed together really smoothly. I can't say it followed the comic books 100%, maybe like 75%, but this movie was incredibly entertaining. No Legolasas here.

9.5/10

Favorite movie of the year so far! Second is probably Cloverfield.

CIF Prelims

Oh my squash last track meet this year! As I was preparing for the relay, I just kept on thinking of excuses as to why I should not run. We had Jan as the alternate, and I thought he was definitely capable of running for me, so my mind went on escape mode. "I could say that I'm still hurting from my pullen muscle from a few days ago. Or maybe my stomach hurts. Yeah..." But everytime I think of something like this, I never go through with it. I'd be crazy not to run.

Thom, Me, Javi, Ed. I started off pretty awesomely, my first 200 went awesomely: Thomas put us in a solid second, I was quite shocked when I only saw one guy in front of me. The only things that kept me awake after the second turn were the cheers. Once we were finished, I totally just destroyed my spikes. Muahah.

4x4 Time: no know. We didn't move onto finals, but I really couldn't be prouder for our relay team. (Unless we made it to finals, then I could be prouder. HAHA.)

School Week 32 May 12th - May 16th

Monday --- Apush is done. Track is over. I AM SO LOST! [weep in corner]

Tuesday --- I slept in Borders AGAIN today. This time I got to sleep in a chair instead of on the ground. I really don't know what's better- OH a "Would you rather"! Would you rather sleep laying down on a carpet, or sleep upright in a comfortable chair (non-reclining)? Please reply to Mailman.

Wendesday --- AP Lang! I honestly don't know how I did. I'm bad at multiple choice english stuff, so I hope I did well on my essays! Freakin pennies.

Thursday --- I have written down in my planner "superhero moment" for April 15th, but I have no idea what I'm talking about.

Friday --- COMICLUB BOBA SALE! We did incredibly well. 76 bobas sold out in about 10 minutes. I'm assuming our success was due to the very hot weather, the Dolphin Bay edge, and the fact that we had FREE COMICS for every boba sold. Thanks a lot for everyone who helped!

There was a worm on our boba table before we got the boba:

School Week 33 May 12th - May 16th

Monday --- woooOOooo!

Tuesday --- So today, my history group and I were waiting outside of Kristina's house because she wasn't home yet. Kristina lives across the street from Stowers Elementary School, so Karthik (or maybe it was me) got this crazy idea to jump the fence and play in the playground! So we did. I never do stupid things (or try not to), but this didn't seem that stupid to me. After Karthik struggled over the fence, I hopped onto the other side right behind him, but as soon as I landed, a guy in the distance blew his whistled. He gave us an angry look (or at least an angry gesture, I couldn't see his face). I got so scared I ran over to the fence and hopped right back over. I ended up cutting my big toe. That's what Carson Daly calls KARMA!

Wednesday --- In spanish I got to draw Trogdor on the board. Highlight of the year for spanish class.

Thursday --- I felt really good today for some reason! I don't know why! No seriously, I have no idea why, I just write what I put down in my planner.

Friday --- International Day! Oui oui! I got to wear my beret. In math I got to draw out my attack plan: Banger, MacAndCheese. Sorry, Michaela, but that macaroni was a rip off. I also had Lee's sandwiches which was the opposite of a rip-off, so I broke even! While I was watching the pie throwing contest, it started to rain so we watched performances in the gym. 09 second place! Ours was awesome.

That was very short recap! You're welcome.

Alright I'm gonna stop here. I've been writing this post for more than 2 hours now and I'm pretty worn out. Oh here's just a sidenote: I got captainship for Track next year AND I'M SO HAPPY/THRILLED/EXCITED/SOMETHINGELSEPOSITIVE! Sometimes when I think about it for a little bit, I just start to smile. Becoming Track captain is sorta like loving a child, and then SHAZAM, I own that child! Well, I have to share it with 3 other parents (YAY JANE BTW!). My week had actually been, in the words of Sattik, "pretty terrible", but track banquet turned everything right around!

More on that later. Maybe.

Alriiight holy moly this turned out long. Only took a few hours! Pictures are really distracting.

Oh speaking to Paul, you have a very awesome blog. It was really good from the get-go, too! His first post was like... wow. Remember my first post? It consisted of a compare and contrast list of Kanga to Xanga, along with a picture of Mario about to hit a bee with a tennis racket. I thought that picture was hilarious.

Paul's blog has inspired me to... do something with my Kanga! DUH DUH DUH! I'll tell yall next month when I post. Or maybe I won't. Maybe I'll just go study for SAT's and finals.

NAH...

#170 11pm

April 20th, 2008 Prepare yourself for the best read of your life.

Huzzah to spring break! Wow, has it really been a month since I posted?! This time I blame the postlessness to business and not laziness. But now, I can post because of the following equation!:

Spring Break + After 3rd Quarter Comp =
No school + Little Homework =
Freetime + Freetime =
POST!

Huzzah! Hopefully I'm not playing too much Brawl so I can make an awesome post! If I were you, I'd read a section a day. THAT way, by the time you finish, I'll have the next post up! Yay for cleverness.

Okay first of all, I have some very sad news to report. CamCam has died.

See you in anotha life, brotha.

Technically it still "works", but it is unusable. I can't take pictures with it because the screen just shows up as black (not that I have anything against blacks), but CamCam still shows pictures in its lil replay mode, so it half works. It's like a toaster that only shoots up toast on one side. Here is the last picture taken, right before it dropped face down in the dirt.

She said, this doesn't hurt.

I say that's about the 3rd death on my Kanga, right? The other two were the Blah Box and my iPod mini. I'm sorry my Kanga is such a morbid place. But remember that one episode of Lost where [SPOILER ALERT] Boone dies and Claire's baby is born? Same principle of death and life applies here! Introducing, my all new camera!

I call him Canonigans.

I find something ironic about taking a picture of a camera. It's like throwing away a trash can.

And yes, it's a Canon. I have conformed to society by buying myself a nice lil' Canon camera. But yknow what, maybe I'm just rebelling against the rebels by conforming! And 'sides, Canon's are really nice...

In my last post I was all "I'll talk about the very first track meet next time!", go ahead and check, I'll wait. Read the following after you have checked the last post: Well, today is next time! (I'm still sorry about not talking about any XC meets.) So here is a recap of the very first track meet of 2008.

District Meet
Date: March 9th
Place: GAH!...r High School again
Events: 4x1, 200m, 4x4

FIRST TRACK MEET OF THE YEAR. I have to say I was quite excited. It's weird how it was in the afternoon, though, and not in the morning; kinda through off my bodily-running innards.

I only took 3 pictures at this meet. This was one.

4x100m
TEAM: Me, Darren, Adrian, Gary

Since I love to start (and by "start" I mean start off with blocks in a track race, not start something with negative appeal. For example, I would not like to start a new disease that would lead to the destruction of humanity. I would not like that at all) , I volunteered to be first leg. At the very end of the curve when I was about to pass off, I made a misstep that made me do a little hop thing. Slowed me down a bit.

The rest of the race seemed pretty okay... although I think we came in last. Dude, if Thomas were there, and if Javi could run Varsity, and if the other teams gave up because of intimidation from Whitney, I bet we could've taken some names and kicked some asses butts.

Time: 48.75

Place: 4th

So I probably should've taken more pictures. I took a few videos of starts and stuff, but they're like 5 seconds long, and... pretty uninteresting. It was too dark to take good pics anyway...

200m

Oh man. My return to sprints. LOVE IT!

I was in some random heat with some random guys and... DUH DUH DUH! DERRICK WILSON!! For that particular race, Derrick Wilson had become my rival. Actually, anytime I race against him, he is my rival. He is like my Gary constant (Pokémon Gary, not Yeh Gary).

In the end, I think got 4th place behind 3 Gahr guys... INCLUDING DERRICK WILSON!! Curses, I shall have my vengance in a day not yet determined! I hope I spelled your name correctly, Derrick Wilson.

Time: about 25s... they didn't really record it. I am sad.

Whoa whoa hey, what's this? A JAVIDEO?! Yes, yes it is. Now that track has returned, so have the track videos, now called Javideos because they star Javier. Unfortunately at District, we were not allowed on the field if we were not running, so we had to record it from the outside. By my count this is the 5th one we made, so here is Javideo #5 - 1600m District 08

Good stuff.

4x400m
TEAM: Darren, Me, Jan, someone else like Adrian (not in order this time)

I remember now, I ran first leg! I think we were against three other teams, one of which we TOTALLY ANNIHILATED, but the other two teams kinda owned us by a wee bit. We still did awesome though. As soon as I finished my 400, my first thought was incredibly clear but incredibly odd: "I LOVE RUNNING!".

Place: 3rd?

The followng day, coach said "on a scale of one to ten... I'd give your performance a 9". Coach really likes them scales. He's like a fish. "On a scale of one to ten, I'd give you a 3... and maybe a dorsal fin." He'd probably be a very shaky fish, start vibrating the water. We could throw the coach fish in a broken jacuzzi to get some bubbles in there. I'm sorry. I'm horrible. This is, of course, assuming that fish actually like scales. It's hard to tell, I am indifferent towards my own skin.

Remember how I was supposed to update my Kanga every week? Well, seeing as

School Week 24 Mar10 - Mar14

Monday --- Wth hell (HAHAHHAHAHA), I found Diana's All the Pretty Horses book in my house. I'll just pretend I didn't find out how it happened and say HOW THE HECK DOES THAT MAKE SENSE?!

Tuesday --- Played Brawl for the first time. Woo!

Wednesday --- I almost got detentioned for not turning in my XC bus fee! Gasps!

Thursday --- MEET! Read below.

Friday --- Pasta party at Thomas's house! Played Brawl! Team Apples to Apples! Watched Thomas slice and dice some food with much finesse! This was all because of the MEET the next day! Read below.

We had two, count 'em TWO, meets within three, count 'em THREE, days! It was a sort of Meet-PastaParty-Meet multitude of rendezvous for a few consecutive days. Here's stuff on the two meets!

League Meet 1
Date: March 13th
Place: Saddleback College
Events: 4x1, 400m, 200m, 4x4

Dude, the first place we went to was a SHAM! The bus took us to Concordia University, which was actually pretty nice, BUT IT TURNS OUT IT WAS THE WRONG PLACE! We got to play pool, though, which was cool, though. When we got to Saddleback, muy muy mucho late, the first race was to begin in 15 minutes! A very dios-mio situation.

4x100m
TEAM: Me, Gary, Thomas, Javier

More starting, more funness! Yknow, I actually find every leg of the 4x1 to be fun... except the 2nd leg. There's just nothing special about it.

1st leg = crazy starts!
2nd leg = just... a straighaway...
3rd leg = lean in curve!
4th leg = all out finish!

So yeah, I honestly do not remember how we did, but I'm sure we did awesome. Our relay teams always change nowadays.

Place: 3rd?

Alright, so my post was originally gonna say the following: "As stated antesentence, my camera broke, so I was not able to take pictures at this meet. My awesomeness precedes my lack of camera, however, and I have produced a wiggidy wack picture using Ms Paint." This is not the case. True, my camera did not work, but I decided to use Flash to draw you guys a nice little picture. Two hours later, I came up with this.

"STICK!"

fuhREAKIN two hours! I'm quite pleased with it, I like drawing straight stuff as curves. I didn't mean to put so much effort into it, but it was one of those spontaneous "Let's do an awesome job!" kind of moments and this pooped out. There's one pretty major flaw, but I shan't point it out so you can just revere in its awesomeness.

400m

I was in a good heat! (says my notes.) I think I ran against Whitney people and one non-whitneyite random guy, and I got in first yay! I was quite scared Adrian was gonna catch up. He's pretty monstrous.

Time: 56.84

BTW, Sarah is owning at everything.

200m

Before the race, Leo was at the starting line and he said my shoes looked like they were from a comic book! Something like "I saw you shoes and I was like 'man, that's something Kevin would wear'". That made me happy.

It turns out I was in the last heat against a bunch of untimed guys. To put it delicately, I TOTALLY OWNED THEIR SOCKS. Hooray for sock ownage.

I GOT THIRD PLACE IN THE ENTIRE MEET FOR 200M! Right behind Javi. Hehe.

Time: 24.7

After umpteen minutes of a lack of capabilities to produce of Javideo (that was oddly worded), the 4x4 teams were getting ready for the last race of the meet. Suddenly, all hell broke loose. And by hell, I mean water! Haha! The sprinklers in the middle of the field all went off and started spraying everyone! People were running around screaming while Jan tried to pull the canopy over all of our stuff so it wouldn't get wet. It was great. Like a scene from a movie.

An artist rendering of what happened.

While we were scrambling around like little ants who just got their rock homes lifted up from above their heads (I bet Taylor would like that analogy), a few smarty pants just covered up the sprinklers at the source. Fun stuff! I hope someone got a picture...

4x400m
Team: Thomas, Edward, Me, Javier

I had to run with wet socks. But HUZZAH! We owned! Well, we got second place, but it was SO CLOSE! Stupid Connor Rose, why you have to be so fast.

Place: 2nd

In the end, I was so proud of our whole team. And yknow what? WE GOT FIRST PLACE IN THE OVERALL MEET!! Cha cha yeah!! The following day someone asked if we "won", and usually when people ask that, I can't really give an answer because I don't know. This time, however, I could confidently say "Yeah, we did."

Well. Might's well get right into the next meet!

Ontario Christian
Date: March 15th
Place: Smelly cow place aka Colony HS
Events: 4x1, 200m, 4x4

No camera still.

Dude when we got there, there were a bajillion flies in the air, I'm not even kidding. Okay maybe they were gnats. But you couldn't walk ANYWHERE without bumping into 50 gnats and swallowing two. This time I will definitely use Ms Paint to demonstrate the severity of the situation:

Later on it cleared up though. We were able to play Risk. (My first time!)

4x100m

Team: Darren, Javier, Sattik, Me

If I could name my baby after the 4x1, I probably wouldn't, but I love running it so much that I almost made an "if I could I would" situation in relation to my to-be baby's name. Crazay.

So I got to run anchor today YAY! And anchor = fun. (Unless you're a captain of a ship with a need for speed. It would be no fun for you.) I remember running all out and looking at the guy to the right lane of me. He was maybe 10 meters ahead and I kept on thinking "I'M GONNA GET YA! I'M GONNA GET YA!". I never got him. I was able keep up with that burly guy, so all's good.

Time: 49.163

Man. Very Man. The good news was that the gnats were gone. The bad news was that there was a KILLER wind blowing us down throughout all the events. Now keep that in mind as you read about my 200...

200m

The wind owned me. Is it ironic that the wind didn't help me... win? Wait no that's lame.

Time: 27.13

Despite the lameness of the wind, the meet was quite fun. There's a lot of time to bond at meets, yknow. OH SIDE MINI STORY: We set our camp up on the bleachers, right? So there we were cheering for the runners at the front of the bleachers with the canopy in full mast standing behind us, when all of a sudden, WOOSH went the wind and it flipped our canopy and it started to blow away! Luckily a guy from the school sitting next to us caught it and we were able to tame down the flying death trap.

See, this is the kind of money that America's Funniest Home Videos would pay to have, even though it wouldn't be that funny on TV. But that show has a nack for showing unfunny stuff anyway.

4x400m
TEAM: Me, Javier, Jan, Edward

Here was the situation: Javier and I were tired from the 200m. Jan had heart problems, that old geezer. Edward... well Edward was fine. What order would we run in?!.. was the question. I decided that Edward was definitely the strongest leg, so I put him as anchor. Jan was hurting and Javi was really tired, so I volunteered to be first leg. Our team was set!

Originally we were scheduled for the second heat (the slower one), but someone was like "oh no you do'on't!", and we were put in the first heat! THE FAST HEAT! We got 8th lane I think, and we sure as hell ran our best. I gave us a mediocre start hehe (~58 seconds [fart sound]), but then Javier and Jan picked it up quite a bit! Edward ran the last leg like a monster. At the last 100m, we were head to head with our rivals: Sage Hill! Edward and Connor were duking it out! Edward was leading! Connor was closing in! I was cheering my butt off! AHHH! But yeah, in the end we beat them. MUAHAHHA!

Once I found out the awesome results (it was too close to call at first), I was INCREDIBLY ECSTATIC. I honestly don't think I have ever been that happy for any accomplishment before. I've had my share of being extremely happy, like that one time I got all that Wii swag. But my feeling at that moment of the track meet was so intense, SO EXPLOSIVE, that nothing even comes close. It was (Happy+Proud)x100. For the next few days I kept on reliving that moment. I couldn't have been more elated. Javier said it was the best meet ever, and I really couldn't argue with that!

Oh, we got second place btw. Sage got 3rd- SHAZAM!

OH I ALSO GOT A MEDAL!! First of the season! It wasn't spin though.

[space for a video that I do not have my computer]

What a fun day!

Ah... so much track love...

So to get away from the topic of track, here is random thought. I should hire a butler so I can have him say "Well done, sir!" everytime I do something awesome.

Back to school! Okay yknow what, I'll make this go by quickly because this post is already pretty long.

School Week 25 Mar17 - Mar21

Monday --- Nothing recorded

Tuesday --- Nothing recorded

Wednesday --- PEP RALLY TODAY! We had initiation for the lil noobie trackies. Ah... back to track... We all did some starts and ran across the gym, which was quite ridiculous because the amount of people. We also got to throw delicious chocolate eggs (exceedingly yummy, trust me) and little kisses to all our fans in the audience. Oh, and the noobies were uglified with human grafiti.

Thursday --- I almost lost my nice pencil and my nice eraser because Sra. Barry wouldn't let me go get it from english class.

Friday --- NO SCHOOL! We, as in Gary and I, had a <Super Smash Bros. Brawl party at the former's house. We also went bowling - it was really weird because the last game we got three 99's. Anyway, after manys of hours of owning some people, I decided to swear off the Brawl for TWO WEEKS until I got my own copy. I stayed clean for two weeks. Woo!

School Week 26 Mar24 - Mar28

Monday --- Nothing recorded

Tuesday --- Turns out, continuation, Jane found my pencil and eraser that I lost last week! Phew phew phew!

Wednesday --- t...

Thursday --- Today during track practice something on the outskirts of CRAZAY happened! Thomas, Javier, I, Gary, and Jan were running a fast half lap in a line, repsectively. Javier wanted to run faster, but Thomas was blocking him on a curve, and EVERYONE knows it's quite challenging to pass on a curve. Javi sped up anyway and did a little swerving maneuver to avoid Thomas, causing me to clip the show of Javier, causing me to almost fall flat on my face, causing me to kick back and slow down, causing my foot to collide to Gary's shin, causing Gary to get hurt! It was like a non-fatal car crash! Meanwhile, Jan ran safely on the side.

(Sorry about this boring picture. I thought it would turn out better, and I think that picture I drew with Flash pooped me out.)

Friday --- More track! We had fun today after practice with shoe untying [cough], variations of NINJA!, tunnel crawling, and leap frog. Our excitement kinda ended when Chicco suggested we play a game where we put our heads in between each other's legs... yeah...

School Week 27 Mar31 - Mar4

Monday --- HISTORY comp, SPANISH test, ENGLISH essay!

Tuesday --- TRACK MEET! More on that later.

Coomps!
(Do I usually review my comps?)

Wednesday ---

7 Track - We didn't have track practice this morning, which is something I like to call "Track Lack".

4 English - Other than being more bamboozled than a panda on the multiple choice part of the test, I think I did fairly well on the english comp. Fairly. My synthesis essay about "global warming" and "leaders" was the definition of "eehhh". The essay about the Coke and Blahblah letters was pretty good (YAY FOR SPOTTING SARCASM), and I had a lot to say about the conformation prompt. Huhah.

Thursday ---

2 Art - No comp... just decorating wall! Ours is turning out okay. My art sense are just not tingling enough with this assignment though.

5 Spanish - No comp... just watch presentations! Yeah, I liked Cho and Tito's presentation.

Friday ---

3 Physics - Comp! Well just a test actually. A slight on the easy side if I do say so. I wish we could've taken the group test...

6 Math - No comp, so... TWO... HOURS... OF FIERRO... the teacher Fierro, not the Adrian one. I got my test back and found out 7 of my 11 mistakes were stupid ones. Good grief.

Before I go and start celebrating, I will tell you about a track meet! And you will enjoy it! Hooray!

League Meet 2
Date: March 15th
Place: Concordia...
Events: 4x1, 400m, 200m, 4x4

Yeah, remember that one place we accidentally went to last time? Concordia? Well we went there this time. On purpose. BUT HEY GOOD NEWS! Canonigans had just come in, so I was able to take some pictures! BEHOLD!

They're playing Uno. What of it.

The grass is fake.

4x100m
TEAM: Darren, Me, Javier, Thomas

Ewww, I was 2nd leg.

Well okay, 2nd leg isn't that bad. It felt really weird because it's almost like starting with 1st leg, but there's like a 12 second delay after the gun shot.

The hand offs were good, but when I ran my 100, I just didn't feel warmed up enough. It might've been because the 4x1 teams didn't warm up with two laps like the rest of the teams because we were "getting ready". Eh heh. MAN that Lion guy beat me. He's fast.

In any case, I'm really happy I'm a staple for the 4x1.

Place: 1st! (Other team DQ'd)

Note: I am not in this picture. This is Shelleh and Diana.

Fast forward half an hour...

400m

This time my warm up consisted of running back and forth on the field a couple times, and then a run to the starting line. ..Yeah I usually don't warm up much after 4x1 because my previous events usually do the job. Usually.

There was only one heat but a lot of people; Charles had to run in the same lane as Javi. When I ran this I still didn't really feel warmed up. The back stretch was so scary because Javier started to creep up on me (he was on the inside lane and EVERYONE knows the inside lane starts further back). I stayed with him along the second curve, kinda, but he beat me at the end.

Place: 3rd
Time: 56.56

I think that's a PR! I'll just say it is because it's a pretty cool number. I feel like I could've run it better, though, because I felt like a smurfs poo when I was done.

Guess what! Camera = Javideo! Wow, lots of equations on this Kanga post. Here's Javideo #6 - 800m League2 08. (A lot of numbers in that title...)

MMMmmm, two Javideos in one post. Today is a good day.

200m

Beaten by Javi... again! But it's okay, if I had to be beat by anyone I'm glad it be Javier. It would be even cooler if I was beaten by The Fastest Man Alive: THE FLASH! But Javier will do.

Yknow, times like these I conclude that it can be kinda difficult to find stuff to say about short races like a 200m dash. I mean a cross country race gives you around 20 minutes of happy thoughts, allowing you to daydream about food, plan out your running strategy, or start thinking of excuses to collapse onto the ground. For a short sprint that only gives you 25 seconds of thought, all I can think about is "BLAHBLAHBALHRUNFASTERBLABHLABHALBHAH!".

Place: 4th
Time: 24...something

4x400m
TEAM: Thomas, Me, Javier, Jan

Again, Javi and I were tired from the 200m. I wanted either Thomas or Jan as anchor because Thomas hadn't run as much that day and Jan, well, he's just an incredible runner.

Coach wanted us to get at least a 10m ahead of Sage Hill by the 4th leg so Jan could fend off Connor Rose in the last lap. We gave Jan way more than 10 meters. Dude, when I ran this race, I felt SO AWESOME! Right when I got the baton from Thomas (which I admit was kinda sloppy), I shot off curve and ran like mad. My strides felt strong, I had a lot of energy; I was finally warmed up! I'm thinking it was faster than my 56.56, but I don't know if Coach got the splits. By the last lap we gave Jan more than a 20 meter lead!

LOOK AT THAT LEAD YEAH!

To spoil the end, we did not win. Connor caught Jan at the last 100m and beat us by, at the most, three seconds. But when I saw Jan running his 400m, I was filled with, once again, pride. I felt like crying, I wanted to melt and explode at the same time (which would be a real mess if I did). I actually kinda guessed we wouldn't win once Jan started his last turn, but I was so incredibly happy for our 4x4 team that I didn't care we weren't gonna win. It was just gratifying to see us run with so much... heart.

Corny? Yes. But it is delicious corn.

Place: 4th

So after a quick run to the bathroom with Sattik, we packed up and went home! I think we ate at TC.

P.S. Yeah I was inconsistent on providing my times as opposed to my placement. If I didn't give one or the other, it was because I did not know.

So where did I leave off... blah blah meet, blah blah comps... oh yeah!

SPRING BREAK!

First day of spring break? YOU GUESSED IT! Another track meet. This one is different though! I did not run in it because it was a girl's meet.

Girl's Invitational
Date: March 15th
Place: Cerritos College
Events: 4x1, 400m, 200m, 4x4

(I SAW SEAN AT THIS MEET! Weird.)

Rather than have me, the manliest man of men, explain it, why don't we have a GIRL explain it? Good idea! I'll hand the mic over to Veronica, who is in fact the girliest girl of girls.

Girls' Invitational! So I got there in the morning at whatever time we were supposed to get there.. and there were only about 10 people there! What in the world! But whatever. So Kevin came to support us and everyone was like YAY and waiting for more support..
We ended up waiting for a WHILE..
and then Alvin came yay. And that was that.

We looked at the program or whatever it's called that shows events and athletes and to our surprise, the events were in a TOTALLY RANDOM ORDER! WHAT IN THE WORLD AGAIN??

It started out with sprint medley (pretty cool) and then.. 2 mile?! What the?? And then something something and then 300 HURDLES?? WHAT THE HECK? and blah blah blah and the mile was like the second to last event! And then 4x4 as usual

So I ran 3 laps or so with Kimmy so she could warm up for her 2 mile.. "Omg I'm in seeded? Why am I in seeded?!?!?! I guess I'll just GET THE SCHOOL RECORD THEN." Yes that's right, Kimberly Morris smashed the Whitney High School 3200 meter record at this meet! 12: .. something HAHAHA but whatever it was it was fast. Way to pace.

Meanwhile Jane, Tammy, Angela, and Ashley (I think) decided to do some relay race and they didn't have a baton.. so I set out on a phone-calling-captain-awakening-parking-lot-searching-coach-prodding odyssey to find a baton.. Thien ended up driving home to get one lawl. HAHA he saw Shelley on the way.

ANYWAY

300m hurdles.. terribad. This was a really weird race.. but whatever! Cheryl got 5th I think which is a MEDAL YAY or I think/hope so. Lalala that's out of the way so now I could focus on the everlooming MILE which was apparently at 5 PM. Awesome! 5 hours of dread time.

Meanwhile Kevin and Gary (yay!) are purchasing hot dogs..

And uh a lot of other stuff went on meanwhile? -_- I don't really remember.. lots of medal-winning.. Angela and Ashley got like 4 geez..

BUT WHO CARES ABOUT THAT

So the mile is getting closer.. everyone is freaking out (okay fine, I was freaking out) because of the heat-placement. Kimble got put in seeded again (lawl) and Clara got like second in the Freshman/Sophomore race gg. and Grace got seventh in her heat yay!

This picture relates to the following.

So here's where the story really starts. I'm really nervous about this race especially cause I actually have the chance to get a medal (my time was 4th out of like 15 in my heat [which was the slowest of them all harhar]) so I'm kinda going crazy. Kimberly told me to just pick a girl and stick wth her until she gets too slow haha. Milly told me that some fast CHS girl got put in for someone else, so that's just great -_-. So we started off, and immediately it was just the weirdest race in the WORLD because I could keep up with the lead pack! Which was led by *ahem MILLY SHAH (PR BY 19 SECONDS!)!!!! AMAZING GIRL. She stayed up there for a while, and I kept pushing myself to stay with her.. people started dropping out, and I ended up in 8th place on the beginning of the third lap. I passed a girl and got to 7th place (brilliant mathematics) and I was focusing on the CHS girl in front of me.. blah blah blah, I knew I could pass her because of her weak (sorry) pace, but for some reason (fatigue) it was so hard for me to make myself do it.. I ended up kicking at the end and finishing a few seconds behind her. I collapsed dramatically on the grass and Grace came over and was like "Good job Ronnie! Yay top 6 medal!" And I was thinking ".. are you kidding me." I was like, "GRACE ARE YOU SURE ITS TOP 6??" "Yeah I'm sure! Yay for you!" I pretty much just died right there -_-
etc. etc., Grace realizes I wasn't 6th -_-, the sprinklers turn on, everyone is kinda whatevaaaaaaaaaaa
And then after like 10 minutes of this, Jane decides to drop some shiny metal crap on my thigh
And then I'm the stupidest person in the world
And Grace got a medal too geez.
And Cindy the 4th placer comes over and is like "Omg you got a medal Ronnie good job I don't know if I got one hmmmm"
And everyone said, "OHMYGOODNESS CINDYLU."

Moral of the story: I PR-ED BY 10 SECONDS!
--> 6:43

Yayyyyyyyyyyyyyy

Jenny couldn't run because of her newly pierced ears =[
TAMMY AND JANE GOT LIKE A MILLION MEDALS EACH!!

And then we went to Kimberly's house and ate pizza and played Rock Band and Guesstures and watched Ashley try to revive some fish and learned 1 semester of Spanish love songs..

Hooray for having someone else talk for me! That saves me about 39 minutes and 22 seconds. In the wise words of some non-existent butler, "Well done, ma'am!". Also, in the wise words of Michael Scott, "Wham, Bam, Thank you Ma'am.". But that one doesn't fit. And it's inappropriate.

OKAY I'M DONE WITH THE POST! Oh wait no I'm not. Arg.

I should talk about my SPRING BREAK, huh! Well here was my general schedule:

  1. Wake up.
  2. Break fast.
  3. Go to track practice.
  4. Watch movie with trackies (along with eat lunch).
  5. Go home and play Brawl.
  6. Go on my computer to...
    • Mold my brain by reading about videogames.
    • Animate!
    • Work on this post.
    • Find some other way to use up time.
  7. Brawl some more.
  8. Attempt to homework and then fail miserably.
  9. Dinner.
  10. Brawl.
  11. Computer.
  12. Sleep.

These lists really just pop out of nowhere.

Hey beach trip was fun! If anyone would like to write about it, be my guest.

One week after the original day I was supposed to post...

Last Sunday, the really really hot day, my computer overheated! RIGHT BEFORE I WAS ABOUT TO POST! So this was supposed to be uploaded a week ago, but I finally got my computer back on Friday, yada yada yada, here's the post. This sorta explains why I make the Spring Break references... Better late than REALLY late!

Translation: "Your 'effed up' computer will delay your post for a week. Thank you."

I wasn't GOING TO, I was going to NUDGE OFF this Mailman for who knows how long, but some of this is really old, so I should reply.

"yay for headache cloverfield!"
HAHA yeah sorry this message is really old. YEAH CLOVERFIELD WAS AWESOME! I shall get the DVD when it comes out (April 22nd!). That way, if some foreigner who has never heard of the movie comes to visit me, I can be like, "Hey Jerboogle (that would be his name), check out my cousin-twice-removed's home video!", and I'll pop in the Cloverfield DVD. And he'll be all "WHOA MAN!" when he watches it. I'm so tricky.

"I WANT A NEW POST NOW

LOVE IN THIS CLUB
yayayayayay"

oKAY oKAY, here's the post. By "CLUB", you mean Comiclub, right? And by "LOVE", you mean LUB, right? And by "yayayayayay", you mean "Kevin is totally awesome", right? Well then I couldn't agree with you more.

Holy lack of messages, Batman, you didn't get any messages in March!

Here is an old video to top off the whole post! You've seen it before if you went to Cross Country banquet last year, but I just recently uploaded it. MTV Cribs - XC Retreat 07

Okay, now I have to go work on my MONSTER ANIMATION and read possibly the best book ever, THE KNOW-IT-ALL. The Know-It-All is probably the first book I've liked since... ever, actually. I WANT to read this book, which is weird for me.

Um... bye! I guess!

March 9th, 2008 No matter how hard I try, I always satisfy.

Ewww only one post in February. That's gross. Oh gee wells! Here's March!

I really should date these school weeks huh. Dan Git, more work.

School Week 21 Feb18 - Feb22

Monday --- No schools yes.

Tuesday --- Lalala.

Wednesday --- Today we took a health survey in history. I answered every single question the opposite of my right answer.

Thursday --- More lalala.

Friday --- SPORTS FOOD DAY was today! I really think the sports 'ought to have food matching their sport more. Here's a few flawless ideas for sports food that I had snuggled into my brain about two seconds ago:

  • Track - Baton Churros
  • Swim - Swim Water...melons
  • Soccer - Chocolate Chip Soccer Ball Cookie of sorts
  • Tennis - Waffles... that look like tennis rackets... Tennis Raffkettles
  • Basketball - Really Big Basketball Coconuts(?)

Honestly, this list makes as much sense to you as it does me.

BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY, it was also CLUB REGISTRATION TODAY!! Normally this would not be on my things-to-talk-about list of hooraws, but this event actually pertains to me! It's COMICLUB's first registration day thing! GOOD NEWS, we got almost 40 people to sign up! That's almost 40 more people than a club that does not exist.

Encore! Encore!

Yay for talent show.

Last year, if I remember correctly, I did a lazy fart job of talking about talent show. THIS YEAR, I shall have some redemption! Here's a summary and a random-thought-about-the-performance list.

  1. You Give Me Something- random band... yay I saw Kristen!
  2. Chopin Polanaise?? Mary Ogawa!! Lil' Paul prodigé of sorts. She crazy!
  3. Korean Club... pretty coo. Yay fan formations.
  4. Ballerina girl GJOB! Dude, okay, runners cannot be ballerinas; their feet would explode.
  5. Michael Fan does some crazy good stuff with a giant violin.
  6. Martial Arts Club: WOW exciting! I liked when they syncronized board broke.
  7. Bollywood Dance from the lil Indian girl yay.
  8. Fantasmo Fantasmic 2009 Class Act HOORAY CLASS ACT! Dude. Our's was so good. It was both funny AND clever! And the dancing wasn't as random as last year's! My favorite "movie trailer" was Ranger Danger. Kudos to Jaydee and Karthik for being especially funny. HEHEHEHE.

  9. Too cool. For school.
  10. A Chris Han and the piano!
  11. The Guitar Heroes- Very good recovery.
  12. Rebecca Wang- DUDE it was really good! Electric Violin?! A bunch of random song?! REALLY GOOD! She should've won the solo music trophy.
  13. Chinese Club was so colorful! But I agree with Mr. Tseng that last year's was better. BUT YAY FOR WINNING YEAH NICE JOB CRAZY DODODO!
  14. Gary's potty break.

  15. Brooklyn was... sensational! They were the most entertaining music group.
  16. Paul Ogawa!!! ON THE PIANO!! Mr. Pro Fessional. Mr. Super Pianoman. Mr. Spazzy Hands.
  17. Club Kaibigan had somethin' somethin' about a baby... the stick dancing is still cool. Best solution for finding your baby? Have guys carry you on sticks, and then dance!
  18. One Motion... um, yeah, I think that was more than one motion. Probably about twenty motions.
  19. Zach Abelson and his sax. How he so good.
  20. Fever Quite entertaining! The girls next to me were kinda annoying though...
  21. Orgullo Latino was pretty good! Hooray Leo's butt!
  22. Slipped 2008 Class Act WOOOooo... okay, their's was okay. Our's was better. They had a VERY HIGH production value, so everything looked really cool actually. So good job yay!

  23. Holy moles, yeah, this looks cool as a picture.
  24. Tiffany Lin + Shelley Xu! I KNOW BOTH OF THEM!
  25. Our Song? by Tiffany Tatreau and Pearl Wang? Oh yeah country song! Yeah...
  26. Shanti Club oooo they didn't win this year... HAHA Excited Parth and his drums.
  27. Masquerade Club- funny funny!
  28. Sell Out music band really good yeah yeah.

So this year's talent show was really good! P.S. Gary kinda got lost on our ride there. P.S.S. Pictures stolen from Whitney website!

School Week 22 Feb25 - Feb29

Monday --- What a special day! Actually, today was many days:
BIRTH day - Yes. Mine. (And Anumb's too!) It was weird because all morning I just kept on repeating in my head "It's my birthday!". THANKS FOR THE GIFTS/CARDS, EVERYONE (excluding those who failed to get me something)! I'm still waiting for my cake, Cindy.
BATHROOM day - Seriously now. During snack I really had to pee, but there were LINES to ALL the BOYS' RESTROOM! When does that EVER happen!? Then, during Spanish there were like 5 people who went to use the good ol' toilet, and 2 people in math who did as well!
GREEN day - Everyone was wearing green, including me. Presumably in my honor.

Tuesday --- BIRTH second day - Yes. Mine. This really was my second birth day because I got the same amount of "Happy Birthday!"'s, and I also got my super gift today (No More Heroes)! YES, I'M 17, I CAN PLAY RATED M GAMES NOW.

Wednesday --- When I woke up today, MY NECK HURT LIKE A MOTHER! Just kidding. Mothers in general do not hurt. But no, my neck really really hurt, I even woke up at like 5 in the morning from the pain. At the end of the day, it got better though. Oh yeah, and today was also...
ABSENT day- So many people were absent today. Especially in history and spanish.

Thursday --- GREEN second day - Everyone wore green today again! WTFFTW!

Friday --- Awww, the only day that isn't a day (unless one argues for leap year day). Good news though! We saw Spanglish in spanish class. It's charming.

SAT

Oh dear me. SAT. It was pretty okay, I hope I get at least a 1800! I'd be content with that. Happy with 1900. Really happy with 2000.

Okay, but my proctor, aka Pr., I swear he was a robot. He acted so... nothingly! He just did everything normally, he had about 0 personality! He wasn't boring. He wasn't fun. He wasn't weird. I bet he didn't even have any thoughts... Hence, robot. If he stood close enough, I probably wouldn't have been able to hear any breathing. Maybe some electrical circuits instead. When I left, I should've said "Domo arigato!". Haha.

School Week 23 Mar3 - Mar7

Monday --- FIRST COMICLUB MEETING TODAY! I probably should've been more organized, I kinda wung it. But es coo! People seemed somewhat excited!

Comic lub!

Tuesday --- Man, in art we have the art teacher FROM HELL!!! Well okay, it's not that bad, but it was funny because, well, no one really liked her. She insists that our adequate pictures are way too small, makes us do random measurement stuff, and talks quite loudly when we're trying to concentrate on art. It's not her fault, though, for she does have good intentions. She's just really annoying.

Wednesday --- Batman Began today. Note to self, get better speakers.

Thursday --- More lalala... [cough]

Friday --- DOUBLE FEATURE! Video in history AND video in ENGLISH! Both of them to be continued on Monday! Hooright.

Have you ever said something or thought something in your head that came purely from emotion due to certain circumstances? Well today I did. I made a GIANT mistake on my math test, and at that time I was holding the metal bars on my desk, so out of frustration I thought in my head "If I could, I would melt these bars..".

And on that note, FUNNEST PASTA PARTY IN A LONG TIME! It really was a "party".

Okay, so after working on this post for 2+ hours, I should go to sleep now. It's 10:45 right now- OH I'M SORRY, 11:45. Stupid time change. Hey actually, it's kinda cool because it's like we're traveling back and forth through time... oooOOoo! opTIMIstic!

Next time: Campaign stuff. Mailman. 1st track meet. (HAH as if I'll get all that in.)

Oh yeah, and check out our Official Comiclub Trailer starring Craig!

#168 11pm

February 18th, 2008 Today was so... precedented. (Bada-ta!)
WOW have you ever put on a sock upsidedown?! I mean not standing upsidedown, but like the sock is flipped over. Yeah, well, I just did it right now, and it feels CRAAAAzay!

I decided to just start off with a movie review.

Holy moly this stuff is so passe, I say.

Schoo' Week 18

COMP WEEHEEK!

Monday --- I had four comps on this day. FOUR COMPS! That's like two double doubles! Or one double double? Double double is fun to say. Double double double. But FOUR COMPS! They were History (okay), Physics (almost hard!), English (stupid multiple choice), Math (free response HAHA I did bad), and plus, I had a spanish oral test (yAy)! 4 finals and 1 test, baby, read 'em and weep.

Tuesday ---
Math Comp pt. 2: Well I got a B on this test, so... B in math yay.
Spanish Comp: Dude, the worse I could do on the comp to still have an A was about an 82%, and I got an 82% on both parts of my test. CRAZAY! My grade was a 90something%.

Wednesday ---
No period: Nailed it!
Art: I suck at water color.

Thursday ---
Physics: Comp done, comp aced!
English: 3 essays, all pretty good... 89.54 in the class! WOOT BEER!

CELEBRATION TIME, says I, so Jaydee, Jane, Marina, Gary, Craig, and yours truly bounce to the town center! After a receipt adventure, we watch Cloverfield. SEGWAY! Wait, segway? That's not the word...\

"it's a movie, it's a movie
if not bad, im sure it's groovy.
so here i am, giving it a score.
10 be good, 0 be poor.
it's a movie." *

Cloverfield
Plot: Lalala everything's fine in New York but then BAM!! A big disaster happens! AAHHH!!! Everything is seen as a homemovie-esque style.

One word sum up: AWESOME! I really really really liked this movie. Since everything was filmed like an amateur video, everything seems 10x realistcker. I saw a review that called it a "roller coaster" ride, and that's really what it is. It's not a movie where you're just sitting there and watching stuff happen. Everything is so visceral and the pacing is incredibly intense. If you've ever wondered what it would be like if you were in New York city while Godzilla was tearing the place up, this would be the movie to watch.

I think I loved it so much because I've never seen anything like it before. It breaks about a bajillion rules from the Giant Book of Movie Direction, but everything works perfectly.

Verdict: 9/10

DUDE I forgot to review National Treasure! Why didn't anyone tell me?! I saw this on like New Year's! GEEZ!

National Treasure

On par with other movie. Which was decent.

Verdict: 7/10

uh... Friday --- No school!

School Week 19

Monday --- The monday after comps is always grade/no homework day. YES I did Kevin-good in regards to my grades!

Tuesday --- Engaged in a waving battle today. After about 10 minutes of me battling 5 seniors, the brawl ended in a draw.

Wednesday --- I felt weird today. And who told me there was gonna be funnel cake today?!

Thursday --- History presentation! Apparently some, if not most, if not all, if not no, people liked our's! FOUR MALL! That joke was by Parth btw fyi jtlyk.

Friday --- DUDE FORMAL! In tradition to Kanga history, a big event as such would require a retelling of sorts with the company of some pictures. However, I will give you something better: A SUMMARY THAT INCLUDES FRAGMENT SENTENCES WITH PERIODS!! Rejoice and enjoy.

Oh So For-mal
"ex 8" (okay now who's idea was it for that name.):
Me+Veronica, A.Park+Shelley, A.Liang+Diana, Jan+Tiffany.

  1. Park's house! Hah, that's an oxymoron. But not really. Then away to Shelley's.
  2. Town Center p-icky-tures (after corsage unforgetting). MAN we needed funny faces.
  3. Back to Shelley's, hombres cook! Dinner Things We Ate List-in-a-list:
    • "Sashimi", not sushi.
    • Couscous! coo, coo...
    • Salad with chicken, right?
    • OH MAN THE MOST DELICIOUS CLAM CHOWDER PROGRESSO SOUP IN THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE! Freakin chef at work, man.
    • Chicken nuggets. Chicken nuggets are only good with ketchup.
    • Beef roast? Roast beef? Pot roast? Oh yeah, apparently it was pot roast. GIGANTIC! Like a small puppy.
    • Potato. Awwww sharing is caring.
    • PASTA! I love me some pasta.
    • Apple cider to drink.
    • Sorry if I'm missing any other food, I'm rushing.

  4. So I TOTALLY stole this random picture from Diana's facebook photo album.
  5. OFF TO FORMAL! Yay for relative drivers.
  6. Looong nice walk down the boardwalk. Wait it's a boardwalk, right? Right. Because boards and walking. Oh no Tifflin lost her purse strap! TO BE CONTINUED...
  7. Arrival ON A BOAT SO CRAZY!
  8. Caricature HAHAHHAA I look like Spock. Well, if Spock was a model and had constipatation. Poor artist, I bet he doesn't draw asian people too often...
  9. Explore!
  10. Dance!
  11. Eat!
  12. Dude the front of the boat- oh, I'm sorry, the bow of the boat, was really cool! We got to Titanic and make wishes under bridges. Unfortunately I kept on messing up on my wishes. I had a really good one, but the only one that got through was "I wish I could fly in a plane someday." Hopefully the Granter of Wishes takes my request as a wish for super powers and lets me fly around while inside a plane. So yeah, we hogged the bow for a little while.
  13. More dance!
  14. DUDE we missed the crowning of the whatchamucallits! Well. Hooray Tony and Aprwil!
  15. Miscellaneous stuff
  16. Boat back to loading dock... aww....
  17. ...CONTINUED... Tifflin found a strap for her purse on the boardwalk! Well it wasn't the right strap, twas a bit small, but the color kind of matched. Partial success!
  18. Nice ride back home, Shelley's house for approximately 5 minutes and 39 seconds, then HOME home!
  19. Then sleep on couch.

The End!

Okay that was A LOT longer than I expected. I was very picture lazy that day.

YES THE CURRENT WEEK kinda!

School Week 20

Monday --- No school so cool.

Tuesday --- In Spanish class, my teacher called me MACGYVER! Apparently I was being constructive by tying a rubberband together when it broke. Little did Sra. Barry know that I watched a couple season of MacGyver! That show is great.

Wednesday --- Nothing happened Wednesday, so I'll talk about Tuesday again.

Story Time! As the first official day of TRACK, we... ran a lot. In one two lap exercise, I farted on the entire last lap. I'm serious. Every single other step was "EEEOOO" or whatever the onomatpoeia for fart is. Now usually my farts usually come in small doses, like a few seconds of fart, but this day it lasted for at least a minute! It was a really weird feeling. Okay I give permission for someone to "TFS" me. I just really had to tell this story though. I just had to... let it all out. HAHA I'm funny.

Another Tuesday story kinda: "Today" I invented a new way to study: slap study. Everytime you start to daydream, SLAP YO SELF! I'm not sure how good it works, because I studied efficiently, yet failed my test. I shall try it next time, though, to see if it works!

Thursday --- Today had highs, lows, and inbetweenies.

Low - The biggest F on a test I've ever gotten.
High - COMICLUB APPROVED!
Low - Minus 8 on english multiple choice... I hope she doesn't count it!
Highish - A on spanish test!
Highish - Track! Running is always fun.
Low - No ride home, bored to death.
Inbetweenie - Ride home! Caroline's mom knows me as "Ten Fingers", whatever the heck that means. Haha.

Friday --- Mrs. Agrums played Anberlin in art class today! HOORAY FOR MY CD! People recognized it.

Later wade at school, KFC with Gary Jane Joseph, then... Film Festival! I'm really bad at watching these school film festivals because I always look at a scene and say "Oh I could make that better", so I end up missing stuff... And I'm not even in contemp media, so I probably don't know what I'm saying! I'm horrible. But other than that problem, it was quite entertaining! Better than last year.

Then rock band..............

Okay it's really late so I'll MailMan faster than the Flash!
